Tofu Hamburger Steak
These Japanese-style tofu hamburg steaks are soft, juicy, and packed with flavor. Made with ground chicken and firm tofu, they're lighter than traditional beef hamburg steaks but still incredibly satisfying.

Note
- Don’t drain the tofu too much. A little moisture keeps the patties soft and juicy.
- Mix the chicken and salt first to help the patties hold together.
- Let the patties brown before flipping. This creates a delicious golden crust and adds flavor.
Substitutions
- Ground chicken: Ground turkey also works well.
- Sake: Replace with 2 tbsp water
- Ponzu: Mix 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp lemon juice.
